PAC-MAN, GALAXIAN, DIG-DUG... THE names are perhaps unfamiliar with a lot of gamers today; however these are some of the most influential, ground-breaking titles from the video arcade revolution. Now they are back, together with many more coin-op classics.
Namco deserves applause for their efforts in re-releasing these classic games. Namco Museum Battle Collection features some great titles - many of which have not seen the light of day for quite some time. Four of the titles: Pac-Man, Dig-Dug, New Rally X, and Galaga have been remastered into exclusive new 'arrangements', featuring improved graphics, sound and gameplay.
The fact that Namco Museum Battle Collection is to be released on Sony's PSP is also a smart move for Namco. The Little Handheld That Could is ideally suited to present these classic games while at the same time delivering a new dimension through wireless connectivity.
Using the network capability of the PSP players will be able to battle their friends with the likes of Dig Dug and Pac-Man. This is a title that all PSP owners must have. In fact you are getting some 20 quality games in one disk.
This title is scheduled for release on 16th December in New Zealand. Expect to see a full review in early December.
Game Features:
WIRELESS MULTIPLAYER MATCHES: Challenge up to four of your friends to head-to-head battles on some of gaming's greatest franchises. Race, shoot, or even eat your friends as you play to prove who is top dog.
