ENTER INTO THE WORLD of the CY Girls, where crime fighting is undertaken by girls in skin tight outfits who perform impossible martial arts moves. All the ingredients for a great game and then some, we reckon.

In this new futuristic cyber-world game, Konami introduces players to a new crime fighting duo, Ice and Aska. Dressed (painted?) in skintight outfits and sporting an array of weapons and martial art moves they are being touted as "SpyDivas?who take on the nastiest of cyber-terrorists in a world where the real and the virtual coexist. Utilising the girls' beauty, brains and brawn they are promising twice the action.

Originally inspired by the Takara?range of plastic action figures this game will deliver a new game experience that combines martial arts action, firearms and cyber world computer hacking. Carrying on the two-for-one theme, the game comes on two DVDs featuring the different missions of each of the heroines. The story is linked across each of the disks as the as the pair travels the globe in separate missions to track down and eliminate a computer wizard out to hold the world to ransom.

Each of the girls has her own unique form of combat. Ice is the firearms expert while Aska is the master Ninja. Aska's moves take full advantage of the game's new 8-way move control feature that can have her run along walls while both members of the team can perform attacks and roll and loose off weapons in one fluid movement.

CY Girls is packed with some interesting features, and the release on two disks makes this an interesting proposition for gamers wanting an action game with that extra bit of spice.

Features include: -

  • Play as two unique characters, Ice and Aska on parallel story paths
  • Fight cyber-terrorists with weapons skills of Ice or Ninja abilities of Aska
  • Acquire new skills for each character while in the cyber-world
  • Efficient targeting system that caters to beginners and experts alike

CY Girls is scheduled for release in New Zealand on 22nd June.
