NO IT'S NOT ANOTHER one of those horrendous reality shows but a game based on one of those horrendous reality shows! It's Neighbours from Hell on a small screen.

It had to happen, somebody had to make a game of it and it looks like JoWood Productions have done a fine job too. They have taken the basic concept of the annoying neighbour to a whole new level. The premise of the computer game is that you star in a game show where you have to play pranks and friendly japes on your grumpy old neighbour. Revenge at last!

This is basically a side ways scrolling puzzle game where you have to combine the various elements in the house to play ever more elaborate tricks on the neighbour for which you earn prizes. The old coot can get electrocuted, stung, bashed, splashed and bruised in ever more cunning traps. The better you become the more of the house that is unlocked for your playing pleasure.

Listed features include:-

  • 14 huge episodes of anarchy

  • Use stealth, cunning, honey and surprise to carryout the perfect ambush

  • Easy to use interface

  • Cartoon style graphics

  • Excellent soundtrack

As you succeed in the game you will get instant feedback from the studio audience who laugh and cheer as you subject the neighbour to more pain and humiliation. However you have to be wary of the neighbours guard dogs - if they catch you that's it!

The animation and cartoon graphics at this stage look stunning although we are however left wondering if this game of a game show of a reality show will ever be made into a TV show?

If you are looking for a game that's not too serious, or wanting to feel like you're taking revenge on your neighbour without getting arrested then this looks like the game for you. There is no firm New Zealand release date as yet - we'll keep you updated!
