Percy Sledge, Sonny and Cher, Roy Orbison, The Monkees, The Small Faces, John Lee Hooker and The Troggs, among others, will be providing tracks for Eidos' gruesome Vietnam War-based game, Shellshock: Nam '67.
Helen Lawson, brand manager at Eidos says: "One of the overriding aims of ShellShock: Nam '67 is to deliver as realistic interpretation of the Vietnam War as possible. Having music in the game that was actually on the airwaves in 1967 will further enhance the game's authenticity."
ShellShock: Nam '67 depicts one man's journey through the most controversial war of the twentieth century. The game has been developed by Guerrilla, the much heralded makers of Killzone, and will be available on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC from 9th July.
