Graphics technology leader Nvidia and game creation software gurus The Game Creators announce they are teaming up for a competition that invites would-be developers worldwide to put their skills to the test.
The competition is split into two categories, one for FPS Creator and the other for DarkBASIC Professional. The FPS Creator winner will receive a top-spec PC and a publishing deal with Mastertronic, who will fund the development of the top entry into a 15-level game to be published and sold as part of their budget-priced range. Four runners-up will also win great Nvidia hardware prizes. Two DarkBASIC Professional winners will receive a complete PC system, with Nvidia SLI goodies up for grabs for second and third places. In addition, Nvidia will host the best entries on their website for visitors to play.
