Atari cuts last-gen software prices to US$20, PC games downloadable

Atari, Inc. this week announced one of the industry's most aggressive pricing programmes, GamersFirst. The two-fold, consumer-oriented programme will begin on June 1st at participating retailers in North America and will include a new price point of US$19.99 on all existing console titles for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Game Boy Advance and PC (excluding the recently launched Dungeons & Dragons Online).
Additionally, all Windows titles included in the programme will be available for immediate download at Valve and Direct2Drive, also for $19.99.
